Hello, this is the Ghostman again. I still have my van but doe to the ever increasing price of gas and basic impracticality of driving it every day with all the modifications I have done to it I needed to pick up a more economical daily driver.
In my search for a worthy car at the right price and in good shape I came across a gem in an unlikely place. My grandmother was moving to Florida, like so many her age do, and wanted to sell her car. I offered to help sell it and she just ended up giving it to me for a few hundred dollars.
This is the car as of 11/8/03....I took the tires and wheels off of my van and put them on the car...lets just say it was a very tight fit...the stock ones are 195-70-14s and these are 215-70-14s...almost 2" taller and wider....
Well after a few weeks of winter driving I found out that my tires and wheel Idea was a bad one....they are so wide they dont dig down enough so they do not get much traction......in the spring I will be getting new tires and wheels for the car.....going for 195 75 R14 or 205 60 R14.......the larger would be for more gas milage and speed but the other would be for quicker acceleration and power to the wheels.....and with the price of gas around $1.70 for 93*........that is very important....
This is the wheel I'm thinking of putting on in the spring.....
