This car is undergoing a re-build at the moment.New power-steering gearbox, new hoses, new radiator fans, new driveshafts, bearings, engine mounts etc...a lot of parts and money. This car eats transmission related parts.Does anyone have similar problems with their K series engines? I'm sure it is not a power related issue,so maybe because of my suspension being so low?

A standard Honda Stream iL and standard Honda Stream iS.

My Honda Stream Type iS

Spot the difference.

I painted 2 of the wheels black. This was because I was hit by a bike who scratched a wheel badly. He did a runner so I couldn't get him to pay. These wheels are polished alloy so deep scratches are not repairable. That's why I decided to see what they would look like if I painted them black.Still not sure which I like better.Polished alloy bling or mean looking black.

The wheels need a good clean but I just painted the calipers front and back to look a little better untill I upgrade to Brembo 4-pots from the Integra Type-R.

It looks really low like this.

I just added a silver pinstripe to the bonnet and decided to do the wheels to match.

My friend was over with his tiny little kei car and while I was removing one of my wheels to do some work decided to see what it would look like on his car.HUGE!! his wheel trims fit inside my rims with room to spare.

Removed the lock from the passenger side door handle for a cleaner look.Old handle on the left and new on the right.

Here are a few pics taken at the X-5 Osaka event in August 2004.

Old pics taken just before the 2004 show when I had 17" wheels.

Ducts installed for the air intake filter..........................and bonnet duct to let out hot air.

Type S emblems and headlight eyebrows.

Fujitsubo muffler,..................................custom D.I.Y bonnet.

You may be wondering why I did this to my bonnet.A guy on a bicycle hit my car when I was waiting to pull out of a shop exit and made a small scratch and dent on the bonnet. To fix the dent and re-paint it would have cost 90,000 yen because they would have had to re-paint the entire bonnet, not just the damaged area. It's very difficult to get a good match when re-painting this type of pearl effect paint.I decided to put the ducts where the dent was, which was just right to allow some air to the intake system.I also decided to paint it black as a "slight" contrast to the blue. The ducts weren't big enough to cover all the damage which is why there is that big triangular black patch around the ducts. All of this cost 20,000 yen. When I can afford it I'll either get another standard bonnet,a carbon bonnet or maybe re-spray the entire car.
Honda badge and lower center beam cut and removed and new mesh added.

With the exception of the exhaust system all work on this car was carried out by myself which just goes to prove that almost anyone can mod a car if they try hard enough.Good luck with the D.I.Y
