Decided to play with the front grill and use horizontal bars to match the FMIC. Also made up a new lower lip to tie in with the intercooler
The lower lip is also spaced further forward and infilled with a little polished aluminium trim.
Capped the old intake and ditched the paper drum filter for a new K&N pod with 4 1/2 inch pipe.
Trying to improve the last connection to the throttle body.
The engine bay by the end of 2006.
My oil catch can modified to catch more.
Pulled the lower lip off for more little changes.
New fins to close gaps and increase flow through the intercooler.
I made it myself, and pretty happy with it.............FOR NOW ANYWAY..........
The car has now done over 330000 km, but still going strong. It runs well up to 14 psi boost, but I generally run 11 psi for everyday driving.
