Got a friend who works at a shop so hes getting me a deal :). The computers pulling code 15 so got to check out the temp sensor, and its spitting antifrezz out the exhaust so gota do a compression check. The story: My name is Alex. I am 16yrs old and in 10th grade. My true passion for camaros was stated by my dads 82 Z28 that my bro began to drive for his first car. It had all the options. The T-Tops, CFI, and 4spd or 3spd auto (not sure) and power everything. Well that was back in 1996.
Well back in august of this year my dad came to me and asked if I wanted to go see a camaro. This was pretty routine of us to go out looking.(I was always on EBAY looking)We went to take a look and when we pulled up this guy had 3 IROC's and 1990 (fully restored), 1988 (which was prepped for paint), and a 1986 (which wouldn't start nor had a battery in it to try the accessories out)
The 1990 and 86 were the ones he wanted to get rid of. I only had 1700 and he wanted 2500 for the 1990 5.7 and 1000 for the 86 because he had new front discs, all new pads, and slightly used tires (but I remind you that it doesn?t start nor would it drive because the Trans was bad). I called and told him I would give him 800 for it but he said no. I thought all hope was lost. Then two days later my dad had got a message on his work phone say he would take 900. I greatly accepted and we worked out the details. :)
