The swap has been completed,I now have put over 1000 miles and everything looks in place. The car made it to the track on street tires,it was useless trying to hook it up on first and second,on third the gas pedal was also feathered.Next time we go out to the track we are bringing back a timeslip and videos.there is is video over @ streetfire from the past dragracing event, just go over to streetfire and do a search on datsun, its the one @ Kingdom Raceway. It includes other Z cars powered by ls1 and turbo and a brand new Z06.

Here are some pics I have been taking on trips and testing the new slick's for fitment.By the way these are on a 15x8 with a 5" backspacing centerline wheel. They are mounted on stock suspencion with lowering springs @ around 1.5".The tire is a quick time pro from Hoosier. They fit perfect.

WOW, beautiful job especially on the drive train and paint. I have a 75 280 on a rotisserrie and been contemplating the LS2/T56 combo from a GTO. BTW, what is the regulator on the inner fender for?
