***UPDATE*** I haven't updated this in a very long time (lol) so here's the new 411...I hit a deer and did some damage to the red rocket, so its in getting a new paint job...I'm starting to think that this car is indestructible ;) So, its in the bodyshop for now, and coming out a red pearl...very cute and I'm super excited...pics to come!

*UPDATE* So I've had my car 2 years now, and I've done nothing with it at all...except collect dents from idoits hitting my car with their doors in parking lots. I still have ambition to get some stuff done with it, but so far nothing has happened...limited funds (damn school!!) I'm still looking for ideas for my civic. A little about it:
>Automatic
>Stock, right down to the rims
>Needs a new front bumper

As you can see from the pics (Old pics from 2 years ago, the cat still looks the same though. I apologize for the quality...batteries were dying in the camera and I was in a rush) the exterior is completely stock, right down to the ugly rims.

My old head unit, its a Kenwood KDC-722, its a nice deck and works perfect. *****UPDATE - Gave the deck away and replaced it with a Kenwood Excelon

This is my car parked beside my brothers old car. Its a 1991 Ford Escort LX. He had a nice system in it and beat the hell out of the poor car, so now it is a field car. He saw things my way and moved onto the Honda bandwagon. Now he drives a 1992 Honda Accord.
The trucks...

On the left is my parents 1994 GMC Z71, and the right is their new 2003 GMC Sierra 2500 HD. They are both hot trucks and are so awesome to drive.

Another shot of the 2003. Its a beauty. Fully loaded, leather, DVD, every toy anyone could ever want, and so nice to drive!

My future plans for my hatch are:
Rims (16" or 17" white or gunmetal, I can't decide)
Tints
Paint Job (colour ideas anyone?)
New headlights
Carbon Fibre Interior
New seats (either racing seats or new upholstery - I hate the grey fabric!)

I'm not sure if I will ever put a body kit on my car, or even lower it, only because I'm scared of ruining it on my driveway, or in the Canadian winters soooo....until I have a winter ride as well, I'm probably gonna settle with stock!!!!

Thanks for checking out my car, and please sign the guestbook and tell me what you think of my car and my plans for it, also anything you think I should do.

Nice Civic!!! That civic is a really good base to start. When you want to buy stuff for your car, you dont have to go full out. First, I would go with a new front bumper and rims. These parts will look like you put alot of time into your car. The rim size, no bigger than 18's. I am buying a civic in a couple of days, and it already has a few mods. It has a new front, lights and rims, so I dont have to worry with anymore cosmetic. i am buying me a turbo with the money I have left over!!! Come check out my 300zx turbo, and my civic!!! (when I get it)
And go to spoon sports, mugen or jdmcivic.com . All great places for civic parts!!!

P.S. Look on ebay too, they got really good parts!!!

alright man, lemme see if i can help u out at all. First off, get the bumper fixed, repair what needs done before adding the 'fun' stuff. second; rims, rims, rims, these without a doubt make the car. My personal preference is chrome, but if you keep it red, I'd go with the white. If you are ganna paint it, there's a few things to keep in mind, nothing looks better than black, when it's clean, but it's hard to keep it that way. Red is the color that gets the most speeding tickets because it's the color of most sports cars. White has the least amount of tickets, not sure why though. Black could make insurance go up, cuz it's harder to see at night. Green could make it go up cuz it's harder to see during the day. Make sure to get those windows tinted!! I think that they add a nice classy touch. there not too expensive to have done anyways. And as far as lowering, coilovers. I live in Ohio, so i feel you one the winter deal. with the coilovers, you don't have to worry about busting up the body kit on anything, and you can still have the aggressive stance, with the option to raise it up in the winter. Hope this helps........Good luck!!

you have a great car to start with. There are a few do it yourself projects you can do. First you can make your headlights look like the civic type-r lights by painting the interior housing gunmetal and removing the reflector. Another DIY is you can create a SI grille by removing the internal part and replace it with mesh. Next I would get it sitting right with some lowering springs and camber kit. Then go for rims, but not bigger than 16's. 17's or 18's will look way too big, especially on a hatchback. These are just suggestions, if you need any help with those DIY's, leave a message in my guestbook or check out www.jdmcivic.com or www.jdmuniverse.com for ideas or help
