This is my 1989 Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe. It has the 5-speed M5R2 transmission, mated to the 3.8L Supercharged V6. It pushes around 12 pounds of boost. This engine makes 210hp and 315ft/lbs of torque at the flywheel. Features of my car include auto-dimming headlights, auto-dimming rear view mirror, and auto-shut off headlights. All SCs came with power windows, locks, and mirrors.
I have upgraded the sound system, due mostly to the fact that when I bought the car, all 4 stock speakers were completely blown, and there was no faceplate for the aftermarket head unit. Right now the car has an Alpine head unit, 2 3-way Pioneer 6x8s in the front doors, and 2 2-way Infinity Kappa 5x7s with crossovers in the rear. It also has a Crossfire CFA1000D Class D amplifier pushing 2 all-aluminum Eclipse 12" subs.
Performance upgrades include an SCP 3" intake system, C&L 76mm MAF, and full 2.25" custom exhaust featuring high-flow cats, a Magnaflow resonator, and Borla mufflers. The car also has Eibach 1.5" progressive rate lowering springs as well as KONI YELLOW infinitely adjustable shocks, a B&M short throw shifter, and polyurethane engine and transmission mounts. It rides on 18x9 Bullitt replica wheels wrapped in Kuhmo Ecsta ASX 255/45-18s.
