I ended up with a pretty good setup




I also modified my spare tire carrier to make the tire sit lower for better visibility

Also got my first tattoo, on my left shoulder blade

Well, I decided to do a duraspark conversion since my distributor got trashed by the rotor breaking into several pieces. Got the major stuff working and the wire loomed up. Couple problems though. Somehow I disconnected the oil pressure gauge (thats why I havent removed all the old wire yet, gotta find out which one needs to be reconnected). It sure is disconcerning to look at that gauge and see it sitting on L. Second problem, the quadrajet isnt working as well as hoped. I laughed, cried, and cussed that carb. Finally got it to run pretty decent in warm weather, but once it gets cold, it cuts out and runs like crap. I am now in the process of searching for another carb.
