Here's the new crystal tail light next to the OEM for athe 97 E38

Here's the crystal tail lights with a chromed amber bulb behind the lens to eliminate the "egg yolk" look.

Since the new crystal tail lights came with a 6th bulb installed (used in Europe for rear fog lights)... I've decided not to let it go to waste and soldered a wire to connect it to the brake light. Now I have QUAD brake lights.

In panic stopping they glow even brighter! (just kidding...this was accomplished with extended exposure)
