MOUNTING OF THE M-CONTOURS
no more "pizza delivery vehicle" look...well okay...it still looks like a delivery vehicle...but at least the wheels are sporty!

INTERIOR

(seats)
(dash...GAWD I hate that radio...gotta find an OEM BMW radio & CD changer!!!)
(installed OE BMW radio 8-27-04)
installed the Pioneer MDX-M30 6 disk CD Changer
The CD cable & power adapter is already run & installed in the left rear compartment in the cargo area...
...BMW is great in the way they have everything set up for you...the insulation is pre-cut and the holes are already for you to mount the brackets that support the changer...
...the hook up was simple, too...I used T-tap connectors and 1/4" quick connect terminals to hook into the power cords and the aftermarket hook-up adapter screws into the CD cable just like the original...
...yep, the writing is backwards because I mounted the changer that way on purpose...I prefer the changer door to open reward toward the back of the compartment so as not to be in the way or accidentally break the door off or knock it off its hinges...
...this is what it looks like now when I open the compartment door...yeah baby...sweet, sweet music 6 disks at a time!!

Front License Plate Replacement Strip
(front license plate holder)______________(front rubber replacement strip)
Rubber Mats
Okay, some like carpet, some like rubber...I prefer the rubber because they're easier to keep clean and I'm LAZY. 8-)
(front rubber mats)
(rear rubber mats)
Purchased & installed BMW AeroProfile Lockable base Roof Rack System
If you already have the roof rails installed...all you need to do is buy the cross member racks...you can get them individually or buy the Base support system (BMW part # 82 12 9 401 648) . This kit comes with front & rear cross members with the lockable bases already attached plus two coded keys. All you have to do is remove the rubber strips that protect the roof rail guides, unlock the cross member base, loosen the guide bolt and slide the cross member into place. Once you position the cross member where you want them...tighten the guide bolt down (with the 10mm spanner in the tool kit) and lock the base.
