Here is a picture of my 1988 Grand Prix before I started to do it over. The after picture probably wont be taken until late next year.

Just recently I started to customize my car. This is the car that me and my girlfriend use everyday, so things have to be done around our schedules.

I started by pulling out the whole interior. Seats, center console and trim were all removed. I needed to make sure the floor was still good.

I purchased some rubberized undercoating and applied it to the whole floor. While I was at it I also applied it to the trunk.

Sheldon, You might need to purchase a vinyl surface prep or etching primer before painting those areas. I would use a good degreaser too .. Cuz if you use something like Amomuorall the dress up the interior, all of the silicone needs to be removed before anything will stick to it!!! Dave

Sheldon, HOLY COWZ!!!! LOL Man I truely know how much work it is tearing down the interior , as I've done it 3 times already!!!.. Grat job with the undercoating.. I just hope it's not going to "stick" to the carpeting once it's installed... In case you have to remove it again or i'ts going to be a PITA!!! Keep it up and that car will last you a long time. Check out my modified 89 Base GP to "SE" conversion for mod ideas when you get a chance! I have done extensive work and tear downs and know the 88-90 GP's well. If you get stuck on something ask me. There are 2 great online GP car clubs you might like to know about; ClubGP at www.clubgp.com for the 97-up models. And The W-Body Page, www.w-body.com for all 1988-2004 GM w-bodies. Dave
