Here's the page for my PI intake swap. Livernois motorsports dyno tested this swap on a bone stock 96 GT and picked up over 30 peak hp and a consistant gain from 3K RPM's up to redline.

All I can say is WOW. The car pulls SOOO much harder when it hits 3K rpm's. It just doesn't stop pulling. An aftermarket plenum/throttle body combo will only make it pull even harder. That will definately be my next mod.

Here's a shot of the old manifold coming off.

We also have to swap the coolant line that runs from the water pump to the back of the engine. To do this, we went and got a coolant hose from ford for the 99+ GT's and cut about a half inch off the tube where it connects to the water pump nipple and about a half inch off the water pump nipple then slipped the rubber hose over the two ends and clamped them down with new screw type clamps to ensure no leaks.

Here's a shot of the new intake being lined up. Make sure if you do this project to use a bead of RTV silicone sealant around the intake ports between the STOCK head gaskets and the new intake manifold intake ports. This will ensure that there are no vacuum leaks.

Adding the rest of the crap back to the engine. Fuel rails were a pain cause we didn't disconnect them and fuel was dripping the whole time.

I love what you've done to your mustang. If you want to give me a lowdown on the best performance upgrades you put on it, that would be great. I just bought my mustang not too long ago and am wondering where to start.
