Some more updates have been done on the page as of May 26th 2004.

I am in the proccess of rearanging the setup that I am using now. You will start finding pictures and updates under Body, Engine, Suspension and Brakes respectivly. So if your looking for specifics check in those sections.

This is a basic idea of what I had to start with. It was complete for the most part but not running well at all and shot brakes. These are some pictures after I got it home and into the garage.

SuDZ27's 1974 Datsun 260Z This is after the bumper was removed from the back and the vinyl on the roof was peeled off for the most part. Looks pretty like some rust was building up under the bumper but it really is not all that bad when you see it in person.

SuDZ27's 1974 Datsun 260Z Just a side shot getting some of the profile of the car. You can see in this one that the Z emblem behind the driver side window is also gone too. I love the way the 260Z sticker looks running down the door and will want to replace that once I get around to having it painted some day.

SuDZ27's 1974 Datsun 260Z This is Zeus' home for now. I have this bay in my garage for the winter while working on it. It is sitting on my Kwiklift. The lift is great for getting underneath and really just for getting access to the underbody in general. It is also nice for even working on the engine since it puts everything right at work height for me without having to bend over for too long making the back stiffen up when working. The hood has been removed to make engine work easier to get at and lets a bit more light into the garage when working on it during the day.

I don't think I could have as much dedication as you on a car like this. I look forward to seeing the finalized project. I am actually test driving a 260Z today (9/6) at a local dealership (i'm surprised they would have it on the lot). Check out my 98 Mercury Sable LS Kevin
