Ok, so here's the deal. Ever since I sold the car I've regretted it. At the time it was something I thought I needed to do, but that's another story.
So in the meantime I purchased about 4 other cars. A few regular Celicas that were meant to be economical daily drivers, and also I've had two Alltracs. One was a project, which I didn't have money for, the other was a little rusty, and I didn't really have money for it either.
To satisfy myself I tried buying an MR2. I couldn't afford it, but borrowed money. I didn't like borrowing money, and decided to sell it to pay back my sister. I bought another Celica for a beater. This happened at the begining of this month. Just a few days later I'm thinking about this car (the 88 Alltrac) and realized I wasn't going to be satisfied till I found another Alltrac like it. I went online to look at them (without intention of buying since I don't have much money) It turned out that the car had been posted for sale just the day before. I thought that was a sign. Haha. So now, I'm selling both the MR2, and the Celica to hopefully buy back the Alltrac.
The sad part is, that although the car has been driven I think about 8k miles since I sold it 2 years ago, it now apparently has a blown headgasket. The guy who bought it from me says it overheats and smokes. It also apparently has a bent suspension component which sets the wheel back a couple inches.
So anyway, I'm wanting to get it back, and put it back to its former glory. A nice new headgasket, and some suspension work. The leather seats also are torn even worse than they used to be, so I'm thinking I'll put in some gray cloth seats instead.
I removed alot of stuff before selling it, so I'll eventually be picking up new gauges, jdm signals and vents, another set of wheels, etc. I'd also like to paint the middle trim on the sides black, as well as the mirrors (like on my 86 st or my MR2)
That's the way things are at the moment. Headgasket on a 3sgte...eeesh.
In honor of the occassion, here are some old pics that I never uploaded. And yes, the rear snow was from driving, not from snowfall :) A little sideways action (or say a 75 yard drift) in a big snowy parking lot is always fun. :)
