This is my 1988 Pontiac Fiero Formula.
I puchased the Formula in October of 2002 from a local salvage yard with a clean title.
I have since been restoring it back to better then original, maybe even custom.
Suspention wise I replace all the dry rotted, worn out rubber bushings with Prothane polyurethane bushings, and the old shocks and struts with KYB.
The Engine ran but only on half the cylds. So i replaced it with a performance rebuilt 2.9L V-6. It has a nice mild cam, bored out Trottle body, and Plenum, ported exaust manifolds, Borla exaust and a host of other internals.
The following are just some of pictures of the Formula. The page will be updated as the car progresses.
Here are pictures after I lowered it. It sit about 2 inches lower in the front and about 1 1/2 inches in the rear.

Nice car dude. Can't believe you found it at a salvage yard. Who would be dumb enough to send a Formula Fiero to a junk yard? I'd love to make a find like that. Glad you saved it though, and looks like you're doing an awesome job on restoring it. It looks bad ass.
