96stillen_max's 1996 Nissan Maxima

NorCal meet of Jan 2005. It may not look like much, but for a norcal meet, thats a blow out.

Couple other cars from the meet, yes thats a VQ35.

This is when i switched my rims with my boys '03 Maxima SE 17" rims:

These were my old rims:
18"x7.5" ADR GT Sport wheels.

96stillen_max's 1996 Nissan Maxima This is when i painted my tail lights and got rid of that ugly ass amber. I used 2 thick coats of transparent spray paint.

96stillen_max's 1996 Nissan Maxima This was taken 2 days after my tranny decided to commit suicide. Before I got it to the shop it spent 2 days on the side of the freeway. I tried to drive it home and it shifted to 2nd by itself and stayed there until it blew up.

96stillen_max's 1996 Nissan Maxima This scratch is from my encounter with the cement wall divider in the park where 19th avenue turns into Park Presidio. It was 2am on Halloween night, about two days after I got the car and I as still learning and I did not know about over steer. I went into a 25mph turn going about 70mph. The car could have held it but I hit the brakes into the turn (this was also before I got the sway bar) and I went into a 360 and scrapped against the wall. My friend was behind me in his 03 Maxima SE and he said my ass was about an inch from slamming into the wall on my way out of the spin. Not too scary and the damage was minimal, overall it was a good learning experience. :)

Nice & clean, good work. the more I look on this thing I think anything less than 18" on this gen maxima is silly. they give us these 4X4 wheel wells for a reason! lol nice job.
