Installed new 140mph speedometer. Also I finally got to change my high beams display light bulb. Never had one since I've had the car. Bent AC line to clear turbo. Attached AC. Connected O2 sensor.
- April 26 2003 -
Cut hole for shifter bigger to fit T5. Needed about and inch on the front side and and inch and a half to two inches in the front center. Dropped engine/tranny in. Tightened motor mount bolts. Installed cross-member. Installed drive-shaft. Changed a bunch of coolant hoses. Connected Alternator. Mounted coil. Ground 1/2" off A4LD speedo cable gear to fit in T5

Connected cables to pedals. Rewired tranny neutral safety switch to T-5 reverse light switch.
- April 19 2003 -
Swapped fuel injector harnesses so I could just plug into the stock mustang wiring harness. Swapped motor mounts. Swapped AC bracket. Ran speedo. cable through new hole in firewall. Drilled hole for screw in firewall and installed clutch cable. Got bolts for tranny cross-member. Ordered a used 140mph speedo from a junkyard, $55 bucks shipping included.
- April 12 2003 -
Removed last two bolts holding the motor on and lifted the engine out of the car. Reinstalled T5 onto turbo engine. Swapped throttle bodies.

Went and got engine hoist that I'm borrowing from a friend.

Picked up drive-shaft at junkyard. Bought and installed new distributor cap and rotor. Inspected Turbo to make sure it spun freely. It spun great.

New Fel-Pro High temp valve cover gasket as well as new gasket between upper and lower intake.

Removed tranny cross-member, relieved fuel pressure, disconnected fuel lines, new plugs and wires for new engine. ready to be pulled, just waiting on engine lift that I'm borrowing from a friend

Disconnected wires, unplugged vac lines, removed drive-shaft, removed exhaust, removed radiator, removed batt and batt tray, drained coolant, disconnected ac unit from engine, drained and disconnected ps pump.

Began getting old engine ready to take out. Labeled all wires vacuum lines etc... Went to junkyard and got a clutch cable, plastic shifter console piece, wires and some vac lines from the t-coupe

Went to the junk yard and picked up a cable bell-housing. Cleaned it and attached it to engine. Also went to pick up a drive-shaft but the one he pulled had a dent in it so he said he'd pull the one of another 4banger 5-speed that he just got in.

I swapped the pedals in my car today. Took the steering column out and the front seat so I would have plenty of room to work.

Picked up the engine and tranny today from the junkyard.

Went to the yard to remove the pedals and computer from the turbo-coupe. Due to a few different reasons I did not get the pedals from the turbo-coupe. I ended up getting the pedals from a 4 banger stang also in the lot. (Cable clutch as opposed to Hydraulic clutch) I did end up getting the computer from the turbo-coupe (LA3). I had also planned on picking up the engine/tranny but my buddy wasn't able to get out of work in time to bring his pickup to load it on to, so that will wait till Thursday or Friday.

I finally found a 5-speed turbo-coupe in my area. I put a deposit down on the engine, tranny, computer, and pedals.
