2000 LS1 from a 2000 Camaro SS 20,000 miles.
Here it is, all stripped down at the moment. I will add more pictures as work gets done to this motor.
I am installing a Comp Cam, 221/227 @ .050 and 561/569 lift on a 114LSA. Comp 918 Blue Stripe springs and Chromoly stock length pushrods. I am gonna put in some ARP rodbolts and that should be it for this year. I have a 2003 6.0 oil pump that I will put in, unless I do with the SLP oil pump. I will be running an A4 behind this. I really cannot wait to have this baby in my car.
These next few came out blurry, but I will try and get some more later.

Engine Swap Complete!
The LS1 sits in there perfect. The wiring is all custom done. I am not totally finished yet, I have some cosmetic stuff and some general under the hood detailing and clean-up to do.

Showing some clearance between the driver side of the bay and the engine. You can see my ceramic coated '02 manifolds that I custom ported the primaries to match the stage 3 heads. MSD red spark plug wires. Fuel system setup with the Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator. I have replaced the stock fuel pump with a Walbro 255 in tank fuel pump. Yes I did it right and dropped the tank. Its the only way to do it.
A shot of my custom port and polished intakes. I did not do this work. My bad photography does not do this work justice.
A shot of the exhaust port.
Custom Y-pipe. Me and a friend were out welding this thing up in the dark. It still turned out pretty good and clearance doesnt seem to be an issue. Except when I hit shit and put big ass dents in it. Its alright, this is being replaced by custom Stainless Works long tubes and a no cat Y-pipe, followed by a GMMG chambered exhaust.

More to come.
Hopefully this year! '06

This car is dedicated to the memory of my late grandfather. Without his inspiration, this build would have never been possible. One of the last things he said to me was;
"I hope I hear this thing run before I die". Sadly, cancer got the best of my grandfather before he could hear it run for the first time.
