Knyghtmare's 1991 Chevrolet Camaro

Knyghtmare's 1991 Chevrolet Camaro

This is my 1991 RS Camaro. Her name is Lola. The car has only had 2 previous owners.

The car is stock black and came stock with grey leather interior. The car has t-tops. Stored every winter since she has been new, there is no rusting, minus a little surface crap from 15 years of age. This car has one of the cleanest underbodies I have ever come across. The paint has problems wtih bad oxidation on the plastic pieces and I plan to have it repainted. This just gives me an excuse for exterior modifications and improvements.

UPDATE:
-October '03
**I now have the LS1 out of a 2000 SS with 20k. As soon as I can get some pictures of the project I will get the page started.

UPDATE:
-June '04
**The LS1 is complete and finally in the car. I cant wait to get this thing to the track. I am hoping for 12's... probably not right away, but after some fine tuning and tweaking. I havent had her dynoed yet, but I am estimating the horsepower to be about 400 to the wheels.

UPDATE:
-May '06
**Page updated. I decided to stop procrastinating and finally start my 99-02 4th gen dash swap with the LS1 guages. Im not too far into it, but I will update with some pics.

MODS

-LS1 Swap. I built this motor up myself a bit before I put it in. I put in a new Comp Cam, I updated the Valvetrain (all Comp except rockers), Rod bolts(ARP), Head bolts(ARP), and oil pump. I had the heads custom max ported and polished to Stage 3. AC Delete. EGR Delete. Until I get some long tubes I have a set of '02 Ceramic coated manifolds. I custom matched the primaries to match my heads. Custom Wiring.

-My 700R4 was behind this motor for a while untill my 4L60E rebuild is finished. I have a Yank SS3600 stall with a Pro-Built Automatics rebuild kit that should hold 650hp.

-B&M Megashifter with a chrome skull shifter. Soon to be a Pro Ratchet.

-Replaced old hood with an '89 IROC hood. There was some damage to the old one and I like the louvers better.

-Custom Sub-Frame Connectors.

-Replaced the old 10 bolt 2.73 open rear with drums to an '86 Australian 9 bolt 3.27 posi rear with discs. **The 9 bolt has since been replaced by a 4th gen 10 bolt with 3.23 motive gears and LS1 brakes.

-Upgraded to Spohn Tranny Crossmember and Torque arm.

-1LE Aluminum Driveshaft.

-Walbro 255 in take Fuel Pump.

-The system mostly installed, I just need to finish the box and wiring in the subs, which are JL Audio 8's. My headunit as Aiwa and I run 4 Pioneers. Nothing extravagant. I am happy with it.

Very nice Camaro, great work kep it up, With an engine like that you really don't need a sound system, just turn the key and that's all the sound system you need, keep up the great work i look forward to seeing it finished. Oh, I just wanted to let you know on your last page when you wrote about bighting the bullet about saying you'd never put something ford on it, you spelt ford form, just thought i'd let yu know, keep up the great work.
