hpixley1's 1974 Toyota Corona

I no longer own this car, but wanted to add it to this site as a part of history.

This is a very rare 1974 Toyota Corona Mark II 2DR Coupe. It had a straight 6-Cylinder (4M engine) and 4-speed manual transmission with rear-wheel drive and power steering and power brakes.

I restored this car when I was in college and these photos were taken back in 1987. I traded this car in for a brand new 1991 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS which I still have to this day (as of Sept. 2003) and also own a 2003 Eclipse GTS. I've been driving Eclipse's since '91, but wanted to share these old photos of this rare Toyota for you to enjoy.

Brad- I recommend that you search the web for after-market rear spoilers. There has to be hundreds of suppliers, so that you can get exactly what you want at competative pricing.

Hey guys! Thank you for all your great comments on this car and for your great ratings :-). Brad, I purchased the "whale tale" wing from the JC Whitney catalog back in the mid '80's. My brother bought one at the time for his 280Z, so I guess I just followed suite. Jazzing up imports back then was not nearly as popular as it is today.
