1987 El Camino

1987 is the last year that el caminos were produced. My el camino originally came with a 305 ci engine and a TH350 trannsmission. That's just not enough power, so what ive upgraded to is a 350ci chevy small block bored to a 355, attached to a 200-4r transmission.

Here is a list of a few of the modifications to this elky...

-small block bored .030 over, with a crane cam, edlebrock components, edlebrock performer rmp intake

-200-r4 transmission swap (from a grand national)w/ a b&m shifter, shift kit, and torque converter.

-holley 670cfm street avenger carb double pump

- flowmaster system w/ headers (dual exhaust 2.5 inches, with magnaflow cats, and delta 40 mufflers)

-accel ignition (distributer, coil, wires)

-american racing rims

- suspension (Eibach springs, tociko shocks, hotchkis sway bar, upper and lower control arms poly by UMI)

-Grand national 8.5" rear end with 4.10 Eaton Posi gears

My Buddy Mike has a '80 camino all done up, here are some pics we took this past summer
