This is when I first got the civic back in January of '02.

Then I added the AEM V2 cold air intake.

In March of 03, I had an accident when the Mag Light that was under my seat rolled under my brake pedal causing my brake pedal not to go down. At the stop light that I was approaching, there was an ugly red Eclipse. Well my car slammed into the Eclipse at like 45 mph and he was sitting still. When all was said and done, the Eclipse was across the intersection and I was sitting where he was with a bashed up civic.
When the Civic was getting fixed I decided to have all of the Civic SI badging removed, to give it a clean look. No more DOHC VTEC stickers, no SI badges on the trunk (I relocated it), no civic badges. Also for looks, I put the dual halo projectors on it but I didnt hook up the halos (too ricey.) I installed coilovers and was in the middle of putting the exhaust on when I took these pictures.

Here are more pictures. Theses were taken by my boy Emil. His page is http://www.cardomain.com/id/corollamarine03.
Check out his 03 Corolla with the loud a$$ exhaust.

This is right after I put on the carbon fiber hood, and amber healight bulbs.

A week after I took these pictures, I blew my engine by hitting a puddle that looked alot smaller that it really was. Here are the pics of after the motor blew.
Towing it home...

Finally home, surveying the damage.

It doesnt look too bad until you look on the back of the motor under the intake manifold.

Thats an oil channel molded into the block that blew out in the first picture. The right side of the second pic shows a hole in the back of the block. There is another hole in the front of the block but I couldnt get the camera down there.
Heres the pics I took after the motor install. It's an LS/VTEC hybrid motor. B18a1 LS block with my b16a2 VTEC head. GSR cams, AEM cam gears, ported/polished, micro balanced LS crank, LS rods, Si Pistons, completely reworked head, ploy-urethane motor mount inserts, 4-2-1 header, B&M short throw, and of course the AEM V2 intake. The whole install made for a CRAZY power increase so if your thinking about doing a swap like this, DO IT!

I'll keep adding pictures as a do more stuff to the car and find better spots to take pictures. I'll also try to remember to take the camera to the track next time I go!!
