Aug.2.2004 Can someone please tell me who gives driver's licenses to idiots? It use to be that you had to be able to read to get a license, APPARENTLY that is a thing of the past! Now apparently if you can reach the pedals you are allowed to get one. On my way to work I was almost killed by some idiot in an SUV as I was exiting the toll way. He flew past TWO "Yield To Ramp" signs, TWO, and almost into the side of my car! When he was learning to read he must have been absent the day they covered the words "YIELD, TO, & RAMP". After the guy almost killed me, he had the nerve to act like it was my fault he cant read... or drive. So in order to avoid this situation in the future, I have decided to keep a brick under my seat. Its role will be to decide who is right in the dispute.

On to what you came here to see....

MODS:
ENGINE: I dropped the base 351Cleveland engine and replaced it with a Ford Motorsport Performance Drag 429cid engine(Thats 7.0 liters for those of you who cannot or dont want to do the math). Victor460 Intake, 4barrel 750cfm Edlebrock Carb, K&N Air Filter, and an electronic fuel pump.
Trans: 4 on the floor Hurst Shifter with a Tilton Hydrolic Racing Clutch Designed by Craig Taylor in Plano, Tx. It has an inch and 1/2 swing. It has a 9inch Ford Rear.
Suspension: Lowered 1 inch up front. PosiSuspension Bars on rear.
Exhaust: Hooker Headers(I bought them havent put them on yet.) H-Pipe 50 Series Dual Flows with chrome tips.
Body: Put on front lower spoiler, Removed rear spoiler, removed Mach 1 hood scoop and added a BOSS429 Hood Scoop.
Wheels: I took off the Mag500's and put on Cragar S/s wheels. 15x7(CragarS/s) with 225/60R/15 BFGoodrch Radial T/A's up front. 15x8(CragarS/s) with 255/60R/15 BFGoodrich Radial T/A's on the rear.
Performance as of Now:
Its running low to mid 12's with in the 1/4 @117mph. On street tires, with no spray. 0-60 is 4.9 Its Dyno'd at 409Hp right now.
Future Plans: Hopefully a little more work it will run mid 11's with a new HiPo Racing Cam and Hemi Heads. YES THEY MAKE HEMI HEADS FOR THE MOTORSPORT 429/460 blocks. Ive actually been considering buyin a crate motor for it. I have found the end-all crate engine, with 535hp.

Nice site - a fun read and ONE GORGEOUS MACH! Keep it real - Huntsville's not that far from Spring. Love to see that bad pony at one of our local cuise-ins.
