I purchased this car in London, Ontario in June of 1986 for $1350.00. I was 16 years old at the time. The car was in very sad shape. The engine was tired, the rear of the car was sagging and the floorborards were patched with tin and sheet metal screws. The body was rough and even had cut-up coke cans in the quarter panels for body metal. The interior of the car really showed its age and the torn seats were patched with pieces of vinyl. I completely rebuilt the engine in my grade 12 auto shop class and I did the original bodywork myself. After I completed the car to this point, I drove it for a couple summers collecting more and more restoration parts as I went along. When I had enough parts, I took the car off the road and went into a major restoration project. My parents and friends thought I was crazy taking this car apart again. After years of hard work and a few dollars spent I completed this project in the summer of 1995 and was able to have it as my wedding car. Did I say wedding? Yes, my wife has helped me with the car and she loves it too.

This is a Picture of my car on display at Canadian Tire. I was the Auto Parts Manager at the time and my car got some great exposure. I even got in a magazine.
