This is my 1965 Mercury Monterey Marauder 2-dr hardtop. It has a 390 cid engine, these pictures are of it when i bought it, ill have updated pictures later. I tryed to put down some more info in the sidebar but the site wouldnt let me, it has 266 hp and 387 ftlbs of torque from the factory (at crank). just as a general description, the car is in perfect running order, the paint job is fair, and could use a good buffing. The front seats and bottom of rear seat have cracks in the leather because of a bad upholstery job in the past which could easily be fixed. The car is approximatly 19 feet 6 inches long.
UPDATE I've just picked up a hollet 750 carb, and ordered an aluminum intake from weiand, and thinkin of getting a petronix electronic ignition from a suggestion of one o my friends using a mallory billet distributor. I also have to purchase a new water pump, so i ordered an aluminum peice from edlebrock. And once i sell my toyota that im fixing i will purchase a b&m starshifter and a TCI streetfighter c-6 trans!
Now ive put a badass dual exhaust on it, with purple hornies mufflers. The exhaust is great because it isnt very loud at idle, but when i put the pedal to the floor. It gets really loud, just how i like it, and the mufflers have a really cool sound when im decelerating, the backpressure just sounds awesome.
And ive put a system in. The system is a kenwood KDC-722 head unit, with infinity 3002cf front speakers and Infinity 9603i rear speakers.
along with a few other odds and ends performance parts.
Notice how clean the interior is...and it is all original.
And it really looks cool with the rear windows rolled down.... nothing better than a 2-dr hardtop.
