This is my ride. A '97 Volkswagen Jetta GT. So far it's got a Neuspeed P-Flow intake and I've pulled the factory deck out replacing it with my Panasonic 401U. Also installed Xenon 5200K headlight and foglight bulbs. SUPER bright! Replaced the amber side markers with clear ones. Added white/blue xenon bulbs in, looks super slick. Just put on a set of Toyo winter tires. Not gonna let anything happen to this baby (see last page). In the spring I will be dropping the suspension and putting on 17's with some low profile tires. Also at some point I plan on tinting the windows.
Here are a couple shots at night.
My head unit, the Panasonic CQ-DF401U. Always liked Panasonic, never skips and the silver colour with blue lights is a nice difference from the standard black and green.
A shot of the head unit at night.
I've swapped out the stock green gauge lighting with blue LEDs. Also done the climate control console in blue. Matches the deck nicely.
Final shot from the front of the car. The Rockford Punch Bass Control Knob.
I finaly got my new exhaust. It's all dirty now so here's a pic of what it looks like brand new. Magnaflow Stainless Steel ater-cat system :)
If anyone has suggestions for some sweet 17" rims please drop me a line. If you can p-chop them in, even better. I also need to replace the headlights so suggestions on those are also welcome.

Hey man, sweet system, I just bought the same exact car a week ago, and I'm in the process of compiling my stereo equipment. I had the same head unit in my old car, very reliable and good looking product. I upgraded to a Panasonic 7401U for the Jetta, which is why I'm very curious as to how you changed the dash lights...seems like everyone else in your guestbook is too. My questions are the same as theirs, feel free to e-mail me at Chippa120@hotmail.com. Once again, sweet ride.

Thats a sweet ride, how did you change all the lights on the dash? just take off the pieces and replace the bulbs with blue ones? do you have the bulb #'s? nice stereo hookup, mine will be similar, just with kenwood components, hit me back and check out my stock 97 GLS.
