Update: Freedom Ford loctited my cams. I sold this car to my brother and purchased a 2000 Audi A6 2.7T (twin-turbo) 6-speed. I have a page for it @ www.cardomain.com/id/edmonton_audi Check it out!
Since so many of you said I should get rid of the banner, here's a pic of it without it!

This is my 1997 Ford Taurus SHO. It's a kickass ride that handles like a dream and kicks serious Rustang ass! I've put an electric exhaust dump on this car so it sounds killer. V8 BABY!! 3.4L Yamaha V8 to be exact. I've had her up to 205 km/h, but it doesn't govern out till 230 I've been told. Honestly, it's one of the best sounding cars in Edmonton. For a stereo, all I've got is a Clarion 230W amp and a 15" MTX sub. Damn thing takes up half the trunk, but it sounds terrific. I also upgraded the front brake pads to Brembo ceramics to help me stop on a dime. They've already saved me from at least 2 accidents. My car is paid off, everything on it is paid off.

This is the front view. Notice I've white-outed the signals. They shine through at night so I don't get tickets. It's hard to see, but the front bumper has a crack in it. It'll be replaced this spring.
Here's what it looks like when I put the light covers on. I have to take these off at night. I pulled the daylight runners fuse out so the light doesn't shine through during the day.
I've also white-outed the side markers because I couldn't find any clear lenses to replace the ugly orange and red ones with.

This is what everyone who tries to race me sees (well not EVERYONE). I had the 3rd cat removed, resonator removed and changed mufflers to Flo-pro, but the stock tailpipes looked so good, I had to have them put back on!
These are my 17" FRD (Mille Miglia) rims. They're wrapped in 245/45/HR17 Michelin Pilots. Also notice the SHO badge that's on the door, same on the other side. THAT'S RIGHT 245mm WIDE TIRES WILL FIT ON YOUR GEN 3 SHO! With appropriate rims of course.
I had these decals custom-made. They say "Powered By", then the Yamaha symbol.
Just an interior shot. I was gonna remove the fake wood trim when I bought it, but I got so many compliments on it, I decided to keep it. It also has leather...LEATHER!! After having leather, I'll never have anything else in my ride! Just gotta get heating elements installed this spring/summer.
These are my "special" switches. The left one is for my stereo, kind of. With it, I can turn the amp & sub off when I race. Saves a little bit of ponies. The middle is for the suspension. When off, the electronically-controlled suspension goes to stiff, so it almost totally eliminates body roll. Out-handles all those rice-rockets on the road thanks to the suspension and those WIDE tires. Finally, the right switch is for the best-kept secret on the `net, Quicktime Performance electric exhaust cutout. www.quicktimeperformance.com Off-road use only? YEAH RIGHT!! This is what gets my car the attention it deserves!
