We try to hit the trails as often as every weekend, or once at month at the very least. We mainly go local, but we're planning on going to the Pines, Rausch Creek, Paragon, etc., etc.

If you would like to be added to the contact list, please E-MAIL me the following info:

That's all for now.. Please let me know. Thanks!

On to MY Jeep:

Before I get started let me state a few things... NO, my Jeep is not fast (yet) and NO it's not a race car. If I wanted something fast, I'd get a Camaro with a 350 in it, or an old Skylark GSX, but I'm happy with this truck. Its' main use will be for snow/ice, off-roading in the NJ Pine Barrens and other area's, and driving to see my girlfriend at Shippensburg University out near Carlisle.

I've gone through quite a few cars in the last 4 years, here's the list:
-1988 Volvo 240DL 5 speed
-1991 Mazda Protege Turbo
-1997 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 Twin Turbo 6 speed
-1999 Dodge Durango SLT Plus 4 X 4 - 5.9L V8
-2001 Land Rover Discovery Series II LE7
-1998 BMW 318ti
-1987 Chevy Caprice - 305ci 5.0L V8
-1990 Jeep Wrangler S 5 speed

In my head I've always wanted something that could do extreme off-roading and be quite amazing in the snow. The family used to have a 2001 Land Rover Discovery Series II LE7. In the stock form, that Land Rover was impossible to surpass off-road (Aside from a Hummer H1 or Ranger Rover).

Recently I lost my 1998 BMW 318ti. I was forced to drive around a 1987 Chevy Caprice (With a 305ci 5.0L V8). It was a decent car for the things I required of it, but it's not a "flashy" car by any means. I decided I needed something different.

I just moved to Collegeville / Lower Providence in middle Montgomery County (Near the King Of Prussia Mall and the Valley Forge Battle Fields). The new house was completed and we moved in on March 5th, 2004. The development itself is located on top of a rather tall "hill" (Highest point in Montgomery County, Pa, so an AWD or 4WD vehicle is needed for winter. The Jeep Wrangler, is the perfect selection for amazing off-road capabilities, at rather cheap prices.

I spent roughly 25+ hours of searching Autotrader.com and over 20 other used car websites searching for the right Jeep in the correct price range. Finally, on September 14th, 2003 I found the Jeep I wanted. It was located in a small NYC suburb in far Northern New Jersey. On Wednesday the 17th, I took a ride up to see it. It was PERFECT!

I worked out payment arrangements and I got my new baby on Monday, September 22nd! It's awesome!

Here are the specs on my truck...
Make: Jeep
Model: Wrangler YJ
Year: 1990
Exterior Color: Bright Red with gray & black tops
Interior Color: Gray leather seats
Original Mileage: 121,248
Current Mileage: 130,256
Transmission: 5 speed manual
Winter Top: Fiberglass Hardtop
Summer Top: Bestop Bikini Top & Windjammer
Manufactured in: Canada
Tire Size: 33x12.50-R15 M/T's & extra 235x75-R15 A/T's

If anyone wants to do some off-roading with me just lemme know! I'm located in a Northeast Philly suburb in Montgomery County. I love goin to the Pine Barrens of NJ and other off-roading places in the area. Just e-mail me: PntShocker@aol.com

For those that want to see pics of my former Land Rover, I'll supply them here. Yes, I have been off-roading in mud, snow, dirt, sand, etc. Even been on top of mountains! :-D Here are some pics:

I thought my BMW put a smile on my face, but this thing does a better job of that! I also realized something that I didn't have with other BMW owners. Literally, EVERY Wrangler I drive by, the driver waves! This has happened at least 20 times, if not more and it's sooo funny. I wave back and then bust out laughing, it's pretty cool. I'm definitely lovin the Jeep!
