I had to give my 91 away to a fellow probe love who drove 9 hours to pick her up. I now live with 2 of my friends, we each have 2 cars so I didn't have space for a third. I kept everything aftermarket on it and gave away the shell.
October 31 2005:
The entire wiring harness was removed in favor of a painless fuse block and switch panel (never happened). The only wiring I'm keeping is for the headlamps and retractors because I want to keep the switch on the side of the dash :-) Also my Dutch front strut tower bar is now installed, just to make sure it fits :P
June 13 2005: I purchased my stand alone fuel and ignition system. I was leaning towards the Megasquirt but i couldn't pass this up. Its an SDS system that fully controls the fuel injectors and ignition timing, complete with coil packs and hall sensor. For more: www.sdsefi.com

May 14 2005: Pulled off the rest of the engine harness and everything that needed to come off before the engine comes out.
No more axles.
May 8 2005: The exhuast manifold, turbo, O2 housing, intercooler pipes , vaf, and air filter removed.
This car had been down with a bad oil pump for about 6 months during the fall and winter of this past year. I was driving my 92 GL and didnt really have money or time to fix it because of school and work. So the transmission blew out in my GL so i choose the lesser of two evils and fixed the oil pump in 10 degree weather with a kerosene heater pointed at me. No garage either mind you. So I kept it running but it still leaked oil a month or so later, eneded up being the turbo seals. Replaced the turbo and finally took it to the track where I ran a best of 14.3@98mph. After that the car still leaked oil! Found it to be the crank seal that is inside the oil pump which I decided to just leave in because i was swapping to a "new oil pump". While replacing that, I managed to score the oil pump housing putting the crank key back in. Like an idiot I put it together anyway. Of course it still leaked. So I got pissed one day and did that (see above)
