This is Our 1967 Biscayne. It is used to advertise the business and have a little fun with at the same time. The car has 72,000 original miles. It was originally a 6 cyl., powerglide vehicle. It is equipped with manual steering and brakes. The brakes have been upgraded to SSBC front discs....manual, of course.
The current combination is as follows: A 427 cu. in engine bored .030 with a torque plate. The pistons are Wiseco's forged from their 2618 series alloy. The cam is a solid roller design ground to my custom specs. The cylinder heads are a stock Chevrolet rectangular port, closed chamber design with 2.19 and 1.72 S/S valves. The only major work done to the heads is the addition of hard seats on the exhaust side for use with unleaded fuel, bronze guides and bowl porting. The heads feature Crane gold roller rockers and stud girdles. The crank is factory GM forged 5140 cross drilled and nitrided. The rods are factory GM 7/16" bolt LS-7's set up for full floating pins. The mains feature ARP studs. The oil pan and windage tray are from Milodon. Headers are from Hooker and the exhaust system is 3 1/2" with Flowmaster 3 chamber mufflers. There is also a NOS Big Shot nitrous plate system. UPDATE: Due to popular demand from friends and customers, the Weiand tunnel ram with 2 Dominators has been reinstalled. UPDATE #2: The car is coming apart for paint and interior. I will post pics as soon as it's done.
The trans is currently a Turbo 400 rebuilt with Raybestos racing clutches and bands and reprogrammed with a B&M Transpack. The converter is a TCI Nitrous unit with a 3600 rpm stall speed. Future plans call for the installation of a Liberty TKO600 5-speed.
The rearend is a GM 12 bolt with a Moroso Brute Strength 4 series carrier and Richmond 4.56 gears.
Wheels are from Weld and the tires are Hoosier Quick times in the rear and Pro-Trac Competition fronts.
