3.8l Ford Taurus Fan electric fan I got for $25.
The thing looks brand new.

Before trimming it

There was a recall on the 95 taurus fan I assume is a inline fuse set to prevent overload of the fan and possible fire that did happen to some.

various wires I think I am planning on running one 40 amp relay for the low fan and 2 30 amp relays for the high fan. I evenetually want to change the high side relay out and use a 80 amp starter relay you can usually get them for about $25-30.

Trimmed fan with dremel ridding it of unneeded plastic that will get in the way of mounting it.

Did some more trimming this time I took about 1/2" off the front of the shroud and took about 3-4" off the right side of the fan shroud.

Fan mounted up plenty of clearence between the pulley and fan motor cover.

Pic of the manual thermal switch with the temp probe put through the fins of the radiator.

The 40 amp relay and the rats nest of wires going to it I have to clean up.

Here is a basic wiring diagram I made. The only things I left out was the ground lead to the lighted switch I have on mine.

Hey dude....just wondering how that FJ80 setup is working for you. Also, if you dont mind me asking, how much did it run you? One more, what are you using for shocks? Oh yeah, your truck is sick....

Yeah, the um...gears I broke were um.... 4.88s. $2,000 dollars later my truck is done sporting a set of 5.29s with a lifetime warrenty. I took my truck back to the sight were I broke it and I am now actually kind of glad that the 4.88s gave up. 5.29s are sweet.
