This is my humble page devoted to my 1979 Camaro Berlinetta. My mom ordered this car brand new in 1979 and when I turned 16 she gave it to me. It is now officially going into storage until it gets a bit warmer outside and I can start working on her. I got my Pontiac Solstice (Link to my Solstice page) on 12/30 and the Camaro is now going to get some beauty rest. It's got 150k miles on it and is all original except for the stereo. I plan on putting the original stereo back in it (I kept it) and installing a hidden cd stereo system and finding a place for 2 speakers under the dash on either side. The engine's never been rebuilt but I had to rebuild the carb. in 2002. I still have the original window sticker and even the original Stowaway spare tire with both air canisters. I've got BIG plans for this car.

This site is majorly under construction and will hopefully look a lot better than this when I get some time to mess with it. For now I am just getting some pictures on here so you can see my car. Enjoy!

79_Camaro_Guy's 1979 Chevrolet CamaroI need to put new bumper reinforcements and a new nose plus new lower fender panels.
As you can see from the side shots above, I've lost the center caps for my wheels since I was in high school. If anybody has any information on where I can get at least one, I'd sure like to know! Kinda mysterious how they all 4 disappeared in a couple of months, hmmm......79_Camaro_Guy's 1979 Chevrolet Camaro
79_Camaro_Guy's 1979 Chevrolet Camaro I need to get the Berlinetta emblem switched to the other side of the trunk. When it was repainted 12 years ago it got put on the wrong side. I also need a new rear bumper and the trim that goes through the middle of the tail light cluster.

Wow, that is one clean ass Berlinetta, that's the way to keep them lookin stock. About those center caps there hard to find, the best thing to do is to ask sellers on eBay that are selling parts from a Berlinetta, or check out this catalog called Classic Industries, you can order it online, or Pick-n-Pull. Great car take good care of it. 5 Stars.
