Here is a picture of my 2002 Polaris 700 Twin. One word sums up this 4X4 four wheeler JUNK. I have put 1000 miles on it since new and have had several problems with it. The totals for all the fixes are over $2500 to date. It has alot of power but is very unreliable. Luckily for me and not the dealer I put a 5 year full warranty on it. The unit with warranty and tax and stuff came to $8040, a lot of $ for what I got!

Finally, here are some pictures of my winter toy

dougger222's 1986 Dodge Omni

It's a 12ft.X7ft. fish house that my father and I custom built in 1999. I bought the trailer and everything else was hand built. During the first build period I lost track of man hours at around 400! During it's first winter of use it sported a wood burning stove (my brother almost burned the house down with it). The next fall I changed the whole thing over to propane. First, an Empire 15K BTU furnace. Second, a three burner oven. Third, two propane lights (with 6 12volt light already installed). I also got bored by myself for hours on end so I installed a DircectTV satelite dish. I used a 3000 watt honda generator and watched it on a 13in. TV/VCR combo. By this time I was so sick of jacking up the house by hand to get the wheels down my good friend (Dick Bresser) and I installed two 1500 pound winches to lift and lower the heavy fish house. He also devised a winch and pulley system on the front of it to also lower that part so the whole unit could lay flush on the lake. The whole fishouse was glued and screwed together! (except the paneling and the wood shingles). It has a couch on one side (the three cushins remove for storage), and a pull out caut in the rear. I had a lot of time on my hands before I was married. I "lived" in the house for two winters!!! It didn't hit the ice this last winter (moved and I saw over 20 houses fall through the lake due to windy 50 degrees days in January)but I installed 4inches of pink insulation board on the bottom of it for better warmth on top of the ice. I lost track of $ spent on it a year ago, I think it was around $7500. For that price I could have got a mint 89CSX!!!
Here are some interesting articles I found in the 2003 December Mopar Collectors Guide magizine
