Basic chrome 18's with 1 and half inch lowered springs. Plus 20% tints. The top band of tint accross the windscreen is just 5%.
I bought my 1995 Celica SS2 3S-GE into Australia from New Zealand late 2000. It is the model they dont have here in Australia, which is good as everyone thinks its a crapy 1.8ltr or 2.2ltr Camery engine. It was stock before i got it here and have worked on it since.
Another good angle this was taken before it was lowered.
Put in clear 2003 corolla sportivo indicators and tinted rear tail lights with panty hose, still not lowered in this shot. Nice dark tints.
Finally lowered, the wheels now look like they belong, nice and tight. Plus the new clear indicators stand out a treat.
The TRD sticker does the advertising. Custom tinted high beam inner lights (eye lids) and the outer lights have been sculptured to round off the bonnet more.Chrome wiper blades. Looks 100% better now its been lowered.
The rear tinted tail lights are a very good trick. Ive used panty-hose!!!, yes thats right, the best thing is its not going to affect my rego as i can cut them off, plus they add a fading look as you look side on. Also the lights shine through beter as its not a spray on job. Like it or hate it, im not permently disfiguring my car.
This is my engine plate to prove thats its a 3S-GE. Japan import.
Another shot of my engine bay, but with more of the engine. Pod filter and strut bar add the performance. Also have Iridium spark plugs to add more zap. Not very clean though.
These are the Alpine 6 1/2 inch splits. I have mounted one set in the front doors and another in the rear seat panels. I have them running off a 1000w Boss Amp.
This is my front bar removed. We had to take the whole front end off to put in air horns as there is little room to mount them in the engine bay. While we had the front off it was a good time to add mesh to the grille.
More cannon action. 6inch barrel and 4 1/2inch tip, very throatie. Nice sound when the VVTI-R kicks in at 5000rpm.
This is the finished front bar after adding air horns and mesh. Personalized plates (TRD).
This is the massive job we did to install my stereo. We ripped out all the interior and layed all the cable. We had to custom make all the brackets to house the bigger speakers in the front and back. Plus hook up the two 15inch fusion subs in the massive 50kg box in the boot.
This is my head unit getting put in.
The panty hose show ther true colors.
