I bought this car around April of last year. And yes, sand blasted the hang out of it. I've done so far; I Rebuilt the 350 with a lot of goodies, so it should be kicking around 300hp and 420 torque respectively, new paint god yes the scheme is mazing yellow and pitch black with new accents. I am sorry to say I used Dupont acrylic enamel and then waited 3mo for it to dry real well then sprayed it with a clear coat. But I learned something, I should have went to a dual stage it would have cost a little cheaper. But time wasn't on my side. I couldn't wait to do all the black in time for a proper flash time. More or less it was like this; Primer, wet sand, yellow, wet sand, black, wet sand, then back to yellow, wet sand, then clear coat, wet sand, & buff with wool(hd rubbing compund), then buff with sponge (micro finish compound). 2 coats primer, 3 coats yellow, 2 coats black, 4 coats clear yup alot of mills but I didn't want to feel then razors edge on the black. (it's level)
Well guys and gals here it is a year and half later. Yes alot of hard work. I'll have more pics later when it's nicer outside. ...Notice the Motion Baldwin theam. I some what was cloning the Phase III editions. My tribute to the award winning Motions.
