Welcome to my little car Domain website. Here you can see info on DSM's , Nissan Z's, and A little bit of Honda/Acura as well, as these are the cars I have owned.

First, my current car, which is a 1990 Eagle Talon TSi AWD, and for those who dont know, obviously it is a DSM, 99% similar to the Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX.

I Got this car because my last talon died on me. Reason was relatively unknown. 150,000 original, abused miles. My last talon must've skipped a tooth on the belt, because compression was very low (121 across all 4 cylinders)and being a turbo car with already low 8.2:1 compression ration (or somewhere near that) it barely had enough oomph to get itself going. Then the alternator died from too much power steering fluid dripping on it. So my buddy who owns about 4 90-91 DSM's sold me this new talon for about 1600. Included the original motor with 152,000 miles on it, original 14b turbo with the same amount. And it still boosts 15 psi daily! compression reads 145 across all 4 which is phenomenal for a car that is 14 yrs old. It must've been well taken care of.

This is a side left view of my new talon. Color is metallic Navy Blue. Im Told that its a relatively common color for talons, but ive never seen one before

I also had the luxury of swapping in the rare light gray leather interior into the talon. usually i've seen it on a few GSX's, but never a talon. My buddy who has a 90 GSX as his track-car ripped out his full leather interior to replace with 1 corbeau racing seat. I took advantage of the situation : )

The rear seats are practically brand new. I doubt anyone has even sat back there. Its hard to imagine 14 yr old leather holding up so well. You can see the front seats are holding up so very well too. I quite like them. Every sports car except my last Talon had leather. A luxury im getting used to.

This new talon is relatively stock, which is good. I suspect this is the reason the car is in such fine mechanical shape. Usually with cars that are heavily modified, they are done very sloppily by people who *THINK* they know what theyre doing. The end result is a car that has a half-ass job done. Yes, it may have quality parts, but the execution is poor. As you can see in the next picture, my engine is relatively stock, much unmolested. As of this picture, it has a K&N air filter, Walbro 255 high pressure fuel pump, a full turboback exhaust, Buschur Upper Intercooler piping with a 2G Throttle body elbow, NGK plugs and wires. I just took order of a DejonTool Hard Intake pipe as well. And to finish it all off, I have the manual Boost controller set at 1 bar of boost (14.5 psi). My buddy had this car before me, and on 110/93 mix @ 19 psi, he pulled a 13.40 quarter mile. Obviously, that was on good driving and race gas. On average, most AWD DSM folk with my basic mods can pull a 13.90 or better on about my boost levels. Not too bad for a little 14 yr old car. Takes out Z28's while giving alot of shock value to. If you're lucky, you may give an EvolutionVIII owner the scare of a lifetime : )
