Ah yes. This is an homage to my first car, the proud Cutlass. It was technically called an Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, but the only thing truly supreme was the repair bills. Its fastest registered 0-to-60 was 9.6, but that was with me operating the watch myself and watching the speedometer and trying not to crash. I'm sure it could be done faster.

Well, the car wasn't home (brother took it on a road trip) over Thanksgiving, so the pictures will come some other time. Sit tight. You might even get to see it during a rallycross :O

i will agree with you on the stupid poeople that rice a honda (or just put on a wing and add some stickers) think that they have a race car and the whole thing that hondas are reliable is true and it is if you leave the car the fuck alone there is too many people out there doing up hondas i think the world is sick and tired of the bullshit they keep putting out like oooooa 9 second honda civic ya the only reason it does 9 second quarter mile times is because its a completly built up car with a chevy 350 small block in it not some shitty 97 horsepower civic 4 banger and i know my car might not be the best but im not spending all this money to make it "rice" its just a little bit of style so FUCK THE WHOLE RICE NATION and i drive a geo and dont expect much of it is an econo box im out-rob

HI, My name is Eric. I was wondering if maybe you might be interested in buying a polyurethane body kit? Or know someone who is for a 98-00 corolla. I was talking to Brian from racing solutions, and he said he is willing to make an R-34 front, spyder side skirts, and bomex rear. The catch is we all would need to get the same kit. Or Im trying to find someone who is willing to just get the front and sides. If you would like to contact me, you can e-mail me @ corollarcer99@aol.com. Right now its only 2 of us and we need 8 more people. Im just asking around trying to get 8 more well thanks and sorry if I took time away from you. Later V/R Eric

If it's really in Asian blood to save money, why don't they just buy a cheaper car and, you know, SAVE the money? Why do they have to blow it on stupid-looking accessories and (largely) worthless performance modifications? I've also seen a LOT of white ricers; there aren't many Asians around here, but there's a whole lot of rice. I've found it, even more than an Asian thing, to be a low socioeconomic-class thing. Poor people add ridiculously looking accessories to their car to show people that they can afford it (think black people and gold rims on the mid-80s Cadillac). The whole point of type-1 ricing (the posers, as opposed to type-2 or actually increasing power and speed) is to impress people, and anyone who sees a car with a store-bought ground effects kit and a spoiler that doesn't even match the car and thinks to himself "Man, that guy must be smart/rich" should be SHOT. Also, the one thing you neglected to consider is the reliability aspect of modding cars. Fast cars are built to go fast; economy cars are not. Structural rigidity is lower, and the engines are not built to tolerate high revs, high boost pressure, and whatever else people do to increase power. If you try to make an econobox into a race car, you're going to blow it up, and it's going to cost MORE money in the long run to keep fixing or replacing your wasted Accords than it would to just buy one Corvette and keep it. Thanks for posting; I enjoyed reading your commentary.

you obviously don't know shit about why people mod tuners. it's extremely inexpensive and easy to do shit to a tuner. it's so fuckin cheaper than buying a stock "fast" car. and the tuner that you spent less then 11 grand on still "dusts" the stock "fast" car. just rememember, ricers are primarily asians, and it's in their blood to SAVE money haha and i'm not being racist towards asians. just don't ever say waste of money you wouldn't know half of what ricing is all about. it's just what fags with their gay little mustangs diss on and then when a supra or vr-4 is brought into the discussion they have to talk about their gay detroit muscle cars that nobody drives anymore. but you were right about that civic not beating a viper though, anyone who has a civic that thinks they can beat a viper is a fucking moron.
