Here are a bunch of random seat install pics. Descriptions are below the pictures. All pictures are of the drivers seat. Final weight of drivers seat is 21.5 lbs. as shown, and 21.0 lbs. for the passenger side.

On the left, you can see the bottom view of the complete bracket/adapter assembly. On the right, notice the countersunk bolt and the offset secondary bolt holding the slider on.

Notice the Delrin plastic spacers under the front and rear of the slider. The spacers are angled to line up with the angle of the slider.

The left picture shows underneath the front right spacer. There is a slot milled into the spacer to retain the nut. The nut is necessary to bolt the slider onto the adapter. On the right, notice the adjusting lever. The tab that the wire attaches to was bend to clear the front lip of the seat.

On the left, a picture of the adapter from the front. On the right, notice the right rear spacer. The spacer is very thin, and had to be contoured to the curved base of the seat. This attachment point is where a new hole had to be drilled to adapt the narrower hole pattern. See below for a picture of the anchor on the inside of the seat.

Seat belt attachment point. Notice the steel extension piece to get the belt above the side of the seat. The spacer is 1.5" diameter delrin, and the bolt is a grade 12.9.

Notice how much was cut from the fiberglass wing. I had to cut an extra notch because I have hard top latches, and didnt want to lose any legroom.

Notice on the right, the front edge of the seat had to be cut also. I did this to clear the transmission tunnel so the seat could slide forward.

Picture of my machined adapter. Also see the grade 12.9 countersunk bolt and the 2" delrin rod that I used to make my spacers.

The steel anchor on the inside of the seat. I had to do this because I drilled an extra hole on the bottom of the seat, and this was necessary for strength.

Nice miata, I am also in GR, and my Miata should be up here early next month. I bought it in Dallas, when I was down there a couple of weeks ago; and my dad is driving it up here for me (he lives in Texas). Anyhoo... you have a real nice car.

Hey very clean NA. Love the GV lip and loved the APR mirrors. I was just wondering if the the APR mirrors you had were 4.5 or 5.5 wide mirrors? I just bought the 5.5 and now have to make a base for them. Check out my GV lip NB. Rafael

Fantastic job. Excellent fab job on the downpipe/dumptube. So I've been looking for someone who has done a good job like this because I just bought a '94 miata. I've only got a Torsen and harddog bar and a 2.5" racing beat exhaust so far. My plans are turboing it within the next month and I have some questions if you dont mind. I did my on custom turbo setup on my civic last summer and it was fairly straight forward but the miata may prove more difficult. I've got a t3/t4 .50 but I think I will opt for a t/25 from a sr20. So what do you do about the air sensor on the intake? How do you route the IC piping? And do you think I can safely use the t25 internal wastegate and run a FMU or E-manage for 8-10psi? What injectors and cheap and good for this boost level? I'm just looking for a simple setup for around 190-200hp. Thanks a million! Love your car!
