This is my 1995 Ford Ranger XLT 4.0 4x2 extended cab Auto
Bought this truck right out of highschool after some idiot hit my very nice oldsmobile. She is mostly my daily driver, it will never be a show car but i take pride in it anyway. I turn a head on ocassoin, mostly cause of the hood , i have never seen a ranger in person that had this. The truck is showing her age and things are becomming more of a battle to just maintain it. My plans were big, but there is a point where its not worth all the money. So my final mods are in the works, who knows if they will all get done.
james duff traction bars,reburn my sct chip,replace slider with solid glass and tint the windows.
Maybe mods: side exit exhaust, 3.8 tarus fan swap.impala sport seats
Exterior:
Cervini's Ram air hood ~easy but expensive
Clear corners ~cheap, pretty nice improvement,must have orange bulbs in PA
extang tonneau ~good brand, much more versitle than my fiberglass top
painted grill ~nice improvement, cheaper to get all your stuff done at once
explorer tear rims ~easy to find, mild improvement in looks
mesh in grill and hood ~rain gutter mesh, hard to get it to stay on the grill
all red 3rd brake light ~avaliable on ranger and XL models? Matches tails better
2000 Ranger all red taillights ~98-00 ranger stock tails, some ebay ones have the 3 holes
swapped slider of solid glass ~more secure, cleaner looking, i think my truck looks wider
Suspension
2'' skyjacker leveling coils ~levels out the front, nice red color
skyjacker 9000shocks ~didnt feel a ride difference
front and rear sway bars ~came as a factory option
james duff traction bars ~slight traction improvement, reduction in rear shudder
31 x 10.5 at tires ~ was time for new meats so why not upgrade 28<31''
Interior:
Honda CRV seat swap NEW!!! ~ pain in the ass!
explorer full length console ~very nice, very clean look and very useful
random dash parts painted ~nothing special
guages pod on A pillar (auto meter) ~takes patience, i still have them half rigged

8mm performance sparkplug wires ~no real gain, they look nice and i needed new wires
