This is my car. It is a 1984 Ford Escort L with a 5 speed transmission. I bought this for $50 from a sale so obviously it will never be road worthy but it's fun to race around our makeshift dirt track. Good times.

Tons of power, of course.

The Escort gets a new coat of paint. (July 6, 2006) I just pulled the car out since last winter and we decided that the normal red just wasn't doing it for us. So far there is only flames on one side so i don't have any pictures of the non-painted side of the car.

My brothers friend said that he could break the door off... we didn't believe him...

And so I now have Lambo doors... kind of, we actually closed the door again with only one bolt holding it on.

The car started to act funny lately. It randomly bogs down and loses power and stalls. Sometimes it runs fine but mostly it just stops running past anything but minimal acceleration. I cleaned out the jets in the carb but i think the head gasket might be blown. It's now sitting on the edge of our field with 2 flat tires and a dead battery. Oh well, off to the junkyard I think. It's been fun.

My go-kart that I built in shop class at school. Surprisingly fast for a 4 HP motor.
