This was my first all-out show vehicle. I bought the truck brand new (was a custom order from the dealer). She was a 1998 Chevy S10 SS with the Vortec V6 producing 190hp. Onyx Black in color, I drove her for a year without doing any mods. I started small... Lowering coils, spindles, blocks... then I got hooked. Before I knew it I was throwing thousands into mods including a fully shaved rear end with Supra taillights, tilted plate frame, fast-bag air-ride with 3/8" fittings (was tight back then!), chrome 4-link, full tweed interior, stereo, cd, dvd, fiberglassed dash with 7" tv, so on and so forth. I took her to a ton of shows and had a great time driving her while working my way through college to get my engineering degree. I graduated, got married, and had to sell her to help with buying my first house.
Tangelo was sold to Speciality Wheel and Tire in South Dakota.
