This is my Colt. Beloved friend, trusty transportation.. I bought this car off a guy (the same guy I bought my 1984 Buick Century off of), and i'm going to have to say it was a mistake, until I fixed it up that is.. This car never ran most of it's life. The guy said it was a fuel pump problem. Wow, would that have been awesome. I changed the fuel pump. Great, doesn't run for more than 10 minutes... Changed the mass air-flow sensor, for apparently no reason. Ignition coil? Sure, why not. No good. What else can we try... maybe it's something little... how about the oil? Gas? No... Then I changed everything... spark plug wires, spark plugs, distributor cap, distributor, valve cover gaskets, even the interior seats! No good! You know what did work? The computer. I managed to snag a brand new computer for my car for $25! SCORE. Now she sits yet again, but running this time. Like a dream. A loud dream.
Many a mile have accumilated whilst delivering pizza with Santa Lucia, where my oil pan has perished and my buddy slammed into a Civic with it (no damage to the Colt), and my exhaust system seems to have died too. Wow is the Colt ever loud now... Stupid loud, and it's not even tolerable.
