My name is Tony, I live in a Chicago suburb, I've owned my Z since 1991 in November. I can swear I've torn this car down 3 times already...it's almost ready for number 4. The car was originally from Texas. I've done my best for it to only have seen 3 winters. I also have a 2001 Frontier in S/C form. My wife drives a Honda Odessey for our 3 kids, but they will most likely drive Nissan products.
The "Z" is:
1986 300ZX non-turbo
5spd, 135,000miles
Red with Black interior
17 inch Exel Rims
The interior has been heavily modified to hold 8 speakers(doors, ect.), 4-10" subs(directly behind the seats), 3 amps(in the hatch aera), a DSP (on the roof), EQ, a CD changer (in the center console), and I even custom mounted my flipface CD player (trimmed behind a piece of black lexan)to match the AC/HEAT controls. I also installed new Nismo seats that were a gift from my wife and my brother who have helped and supported my Z habbit. I plan on redoing it again, there is always more to do and things to change...just what?
I'm in the process of building a new Turbo motor. The old one is dead.
