unfortunaly due to "growing up" I had to sell her.... we had a good run but it came down to buying a house and would have started a family but she called it off...I love how I always get screwed... haha

that_guy_trav's 1968 Ford Mustang These 1st couple pics are from the day I bought Layla

that_guy_trav's 1968 Ford Mustang I got her for $2000 and she had a lot of work to be done...the rebuild on her was done only 10K miles ago but that was 10 years ago. The guy I bought her from was the second owner and she was family owned since the day she came off the lot. Original color was white with standard black interior

This is a shot of the motor...looks pretty messed up but she ran...

that_guy_trav's 1968 Ford Mustang So I drove her around for a couple of weeks....tranny dies...get that fixed...3 weeks later...gear on the bottom of the distributor breaks off....so I could either spend $300 to gettin that fixed or spend $1200 and rebuild the motor.

that_guy_trav's 1968 Ford Mustang This is the new Shelby decklid...only problem with this one is the bottom of the decklid doesn't come all the way down to the tail light panel so we had to take a side skirt from a 91 GT and fab. it into the decklid...hope it doesn't crack....

Here is a shot of the motor...It's a 302 from a 70 something truck so I swapped out those heads for some GT heads out of an older stang...

that_guy_trav's 1968 Ford Mustang well...when I decided to go out and rebuild the motor...I figured I might as well rebuild the whole car...so out went the interior to see what I had to play with...well only a couple of the floor pans were rusted out, and some other little spots and I was good to go

Nice car...unfortunate that you had to sell it. I'm 34 and luckily the wife allows me to 'embrace my inner kid' and keep up with the toys (if she didn't...she'd never have made it to 'wife'...). Keep your chin up, if you're determined you'll eventually find another. Cris

Nice job...are those the original rear window moldings? Or are the repros? If they are repros, where did you get them? My ride is 3291sf.....
