Thanks for visiting my 1984 Caprice Classic...

Good old 80's GM products... This baby was equipped with a 305 CI engine which happily turned out 150 or something horses! Just enough to get the tires smokin! Big solid caprice. These cars were very commonly used as Police and Taxi cars, because of thier reliability. The only differences between this car and a police cruiser are a slightly smaller engine (crusiers had 350's), and lighter sway bars.

I dont own this car anymore, but I wanted to show it off. This was my very first car, and it went through everything with me. It was always there, always started for me, and I had VERY little go wrong with it through the 2 years I drove it. And I didnt exactly drive it like a grandma.

Anyways, it was purchased for 500 dollars, because it needed a heater core, and the guy didnt want to pay a mechanic to do it. I bought a heater core from the junkers for 25 bucks, some silicone sealant and had it done in a night. I also had to replace an axle seal, and I noticed that the rear end gears were missing some teeth when we tore the diff cover off. We replaced the gears aswell. Other than that, it was good! (previous owner was 20 something years of age, and likely did a couple neutral drops or something!)

There she is! The only exterior mods I did to the car were the wheels I put on, I tinted the windows, and did some bondo-ing and painting! White is a really easy color to match, the easiest and most forgiving to learn body work on!
