I bought this car for... 800 dollars (canadian!) It had been sitting in my neighbors drive way for 10 years. I remember seeing it there ever since we moved there. Anyways, it needed only minor work on it, and all in all this car cost me a little under 1500 dollars!
This car had ONLY 98,000 KM's on it when I bought it (under 60,000 miles). Engine ran like a DREAM, but the transmission blew up a week after I bought it.
All I did to it was:
-Heavy polish the paint
-Transmission had to be rebuilt (10 years without tranny fluid dries things out!
-Installed wheels
-Tinted windows
-Baby'd up the interior
Looking at the pictures makes me wish I never sold it... The guy who bought it ran the living shit out of it for 6 months, never changed the oil and ceased the oil pump. It ended up at the junkers on the bottom of a 2-car stack... *sniffle sniffle* Its life ended at 109,000 KM's... Where most cars just got broken in!
