The 01' Convertible
ManicStang's 2001 Ford Mustang I am selling my 2001 GT. I am the original owner, It has 24,500 miles. No parking lot dings, never wrecked! Call it simple but black and white seems to work. A Cobra front fascia and fog lights give it some personality. Asking Price $ 16,500.00.
ManicStang's 2001 Ford Mustang Out back, you will find a set of FRPP 4.10 Gears. The car turned a 9.19 in the 1/8th mile. I have not changed the rear bumper. No big deal because in 99' the cobra used the GT rear bumper. That's why I used the 99' rear badge.
ManicStang's 2001 Ford Mustang A Functional CDC Shaker makes the car turn heads. Inside you will find a white face gauge kit. This car is not for racing, that's what my 87' coupe is for.
ManicStang's 2001 Ford Mustang 18" Cobra R's surround the 13" front cobra brakes. Michelin Pilot Sport 255/40 18's are at each corner. Scott Hoag with MRT supplied the lowering springs. These springs ride so good! Car is tuned with a hypertech computer programmer.
ManicStang's 2001 Ford Mustang My 87' has turned 8.7 in the 1/8th and 13.8 in the quarter (on street tires)! The 87' is my daily driver. It has a 306, speed pro pistons, 1.7 Roller Rockers, Cold Air Induction, Shorty Headers (soon to add long tube), DynoMax Cat Back, Underdrives, Hurst Shifter, FRPP subframe connectors and a 3.73 Gear. Out back you will find a set of upper and lower control arms from "Blue Oval Performance". It is not perfect but it is very clean. Even the A/C works.
ManicStang's 2001 Ford Mustang I like this picture. I have changed the wheels to 16" pony's with 245/50/16 BFG KDWS T/A's. The 85 MPH speedometer has been replaced with a 140 MPH from an 89' model. It has an aluminum drive shaft from Ford Racing. The car has fresh leather interior and carpet. Interior is red and black. New headlights and tail lights helped out alot! The car has a FRPP Mass Air Conversion with a 70mm cobra meter. I have a set of aluminum Y303 heads ready to go on. I also have a Cobra intake with a 65mm T/B. Long tube headers are also waiting to be installed. I am using a Steeda #18 cam. It should work O.K. with the 1.7 RR's. I will be using 24# injectors and a 155 lph fuel pump.

Hey very nice mustang. I have a question for ya. I am about to purchase a hood shaker system for my 2001 mustang and i was wondering if you have to cut a hole in the hood or it comes with a new hood or what?

i like that shaker hood scoop, it looks good, check out my 01 black GT. You should really look into some racing seats, i have Corbeau CR1's and they are awesome. they would look great in that convertible
