Spring 2008 . . .

What a miserable winter - worst winter since the 1930s. I only managed to pick up a few parts -- gauges and ignition. Sometimes it pays to have this project as a hobby since the parts market is becoming more interesting now. Case in point, all the ignition components (box, coil, wires, distributor) are all Summit Racing brand components. They claim technical equivalence to the Mallory and MSD, however are cheaper. Let's see what happens.

Here's a few pics:

(pics soon)

I am dying to get back into the garage and have a rolling chassis by the fall. Yes I know it's over 4 years since I started this project -- buy I've got triplets dammit! ahahah. I can equate every bike, piece of clothes, sports equipment and lessons to a car part. You've gotta laugh or go crazy!.

I need to get the Jag rear-end out for the rebuild too. I have a few more parts to remove and then shall bestow the box o'parts to a rebuilder -- I don't have the tools or space to do this myself. It'll be pricey, however it will be worth it.
