1989 Shadow es turbo, when i purchased the car back in may the previous owner had converted it turbo intercooled turbo specs with a Garrett turbo, 16 inch PT cruiser rims, and pillar pod with boost guage and a/f gauge.. since then i blew cracked the head with 16 psi of boost on stock injectors,, and i HIGHLY doubt this was the case of failure..anyways, i have recently equipped the car with the 3 inch exhaust , catless with a straight thru muffler, 555 tranny with a LSD, ported head with a ported 2 piece intake, with an adj FP regulator, 52lbs hour injectors, ported exh manifold with an egt probe in runner #4, FP gauge, oil pressure gauge, also.. i have built a new 2.5 block, with balance shafts removed, polished re-ground crank, arp studded and shot peened and lightened rods, mahle pistons .30 over..hope fully i will be able to aquire more boost.. this way..so far by speculation.. my friend has a supra that runs a 14.0 on 10 psi.. with extensive mods.. and him and i raced and were side by side.. so on 16 psi.. before i swapped transmissions.. and engines..i fig a low 14 with traction? and hook up? BUT this is all specualtion...
FUTURE UPRGARES: 3 core intercooler.. 90-91 es body side mouldings, re-paint car and mouldings spoilers all white, 17 inch chrome PT cruiser rims, APEXI AVCR boost controller, HKS AFR (air fuel controller), greddy type s BOV, lowering springs with either KONI'S or MONROE GP formulas, install my stereo, and possibly and neon 16 v head conversion with a hybrid.. over the winter..autometer 5 inch monster tach with shift light (PHANTOM series)..i have most of this stuff minus the head and turbo and suspension BUT SOOOOON!!! lol anyways comments questions welcome.. e-mail me at boost_aholic@hotmail.com thanks for looking and stopping by!
