DragRacerJosh's 1985 Pontiac Firebird Here is my car its an 85 Pontiac Firebird that has had the frame tied and a 12 point roll cage. It has a ladder bar suspension and is lowered about 3 inches.

The motor that we just put in is a 434 cubic inch small block chevy. Its a 400 block with the stroke bumped up 1/4 of an inch to 4". The bore is reamed out to 4.155. It has a Cola crankshaft, Howards rods, and Ross pop up pistons.
The compression ratio is 13.4 to 1 with the Brodix track 1 heads bolted on. It has a .681 roller camshaft that is spun by a Jesel belt drive. An edelbrock intake and a Barry Grant 983 cfm carb round out this beast.

The car has all MSD ignition as well as electric fuel pump, water pump, fan, shifter, and windows.

Thats a sweet firebird.....looks like it makes plenty of trips to the dragstrip. Thats horrible what happened to your car while it was on your trailer! Come check out my 69 Nova with a 454 big block and let me know whatcha think...later.

Is the hood cowl hood 4 or 5 inches or bigger? Awesome car, I love the one that got wrecked.
